Richard Hy, also known as the social media personality Angry Cops, started his military career 17 years ago and served two combat tours in Iraq. He serves in the Army National Guard and is a 10-year veteran of the Buffalo Police Department. When he’s not serving his community, Hy can be found online portraying his bombastic-drill-sergeant alter ego while correcting military members’ mistakes, finding humor in dark places and generally fixing society’s ills with satire.
